I am Ewelina, a portrait and editorial photographer based in Scotland. I grew up in the beautiful Polish mountains called Karkonosze and that’s why mountains and nature itself have a very special place in my heart.
My biggest dream was to move to Scotland! To use the passions for travel and photography to capture stories of the amazing people that I am lucky to meet. Alongside portrait photography I am one half of Eve & Art Stories team, where I work as an adventure elopement photographer.
The true origin of my photography career is very simple: it started from the urge to document trips and the beautiful landscapes that I encountered. Through time I discovered that photograpy is the best way to express myself as a human and as an artist. This evolved into an exploration of people through portraiture.
I aim to capture an authentic and natural connection with other people, and combine it with natural light, shadows, unique locations, and nostalgic, sentimental emotions. Through the years this is what shaped my style and the way I see the world. I creatively compose to produce the cinematic, almost melancholic shade that expresses my work.
